Pamela Saunders is in her 2nd year as President of ABNA, previously Vice President and ABNA committee member. Previous contract was to set up a new Biospecimen Repository at SAHMRI, the state-of-the-art research facility in SA. This included the SABR laboratory fit out, database selection and implementation of all levels of governance, protocols and procedures. Currently she is a member of the International Society for Biological and Environmental Repositories (ISBER) with her roles being as a member of the Conference Organising Committee and the “Regulatory and Ethics Working Group”. Collectively Ms Saunders has extensive experience in biobanking and research including: Biorespository management, database development and management, quality reporting and auditing and questionnaire development and administration.
