Tony is a molecular biologist and neuroscientist by training. He holds a master’s degree in developmental biology and a PhD in molecular neurogenetics from The University of Paris, France. He has over 20 years of experience in biomedical research and public health in France, Australia, and New Zealand. Tony have years of experience in tissue banking including managing the Neurotrauma Tissue Bank at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne and Te Ira Kāwai – the Auckland Regional Biobank in New Zealand. Tony is currently the GenV Bio Discovery Stream Lead and is primarily responsible for the overall leadership and operational management of the GenV biobank. This state-of-the-art infrastructure is located at Melbourne Children’s Campus, a partnership between The Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, University of Melbourne, and The Royal Children’s Hospital.
