Dr Woods completed her PhD in Biochemistry and Immunology at Trinity College, Dublin. She worked for over a decade as a postdoctoral research fellow across Australia and New Zealand. She has a career total of 23 publications in high impact journals including Nature, Science, and PNAS. Since commencing as Biobank Co-ordinator at NRL/SVI in 2020, Dr Woods has worked to develop the Biobank into a high-quality, sustainable resource for researchers and clinicians across the SVHM campus and beyond. Of relevance to this goal, Dr Woods is integrating the Biobank into NRL’s Quality Management System, and driving work towards accreditation under ISO 20387. https://www.svi.edu.au/resources/svi_biobank_program/
